Our History As Leading Custom Packaging Providers
Founded in 1977 by Joe Schmitt, Jet Container has grown from a small, four-person operation into a leading custom packaging company in Columbus, Ohio. Joe’s early experience with respected manufacturers like Corco and Consolidated Packaging laid the foundation for a business built on quality, service, and speed. In the beginning, he sold boxes directly from his car, but his vision quickly took shape as Jet Container opened its first location on West State Street.
Over the years, our company has expanded to meet the needs of businesses across industries. In 2016, we moved into our modern facility on Brentnell Avenue, allowing us to scale production and provide even more custom corrugated boxes, protective packaging, and shipping solutions.
Today, Jet Container is proud to deliver packaging for projects of every size from everyday shipping boxes to jumbo boxes for bulk storage and transportation. No matter the challenge, our goal remains the same: to provide high-quality packaging solutions that help our clients succeed.
